Scrap baling is a specific way of getting reusable materials from aluminium/tin scraps but does not require a large energy output of a melting process as compared to the amount of energy required to create aluminium from bauxite.
- By bailing scrap materials, it saves space by 65-75% (varies by scrap to scrap) making it easier to maintain and sorting it into small space.
It saves transportation cost, as it enables you to load more of scraps.
In recycling plant it reduces the amount of fuel to melt it as there are comparatively negligible air gaps between the scraps
